MDA Structures is a structural & civil engineering design practice based in Catford, Lewisham, South East London.

We operate in South East England, with the majority of our projects in London within the M25 area and in particular Brockley, Forest Hill, Dulwich, Camberwell, Clapham, Wandworth, Sydenham & South West London. 

Our background is in large commercial and residential projects, and we have been involved in several award winning projects.

The idea beyond MDA Structures is simple, replicate the attention to detail typical of large projects to small and medium residential projects, and the results are simply  stunning.

Our Company has specialized in the design of contemporary houses and extensions, high spec residential properties but also small residential renovations and new builds are part of our portfolio.

People

Marco D'Ambrosio M.Eng.,C.Eng.,M.I.Struct.E| 

Director

Marco studied structural engineering in Italy, where graduated from "Universita degli Studi di Napoli Federico II" in 1997. Worked in Italy on several refurbishment and renovation projects before moving to London where has worked for the past 15years. Joined the local Institution of Structural Engineers, and registered with the Engineering Council (UK) as Chartered Structural Engineer in 2002.

In charge of the design of various Projects ranging from minor alterations and extensions, to major new buildings and refurbishments.

He worked in award winning companies on several land-mark architectural led projects, as Renzo Piano Building Workshop design, with a project value of 250 million Euros before founding mdaStructures and concentrate on domestic scale work in 2009.


Mirko E Caputo Senior Structural Engineer

Mirko joined mdaStructures in October 2017 as Senior Structural Engineer. Mirko has graduated in Building Engineering in Italy. He has gained more than 11 years experience in structural design, project & construction management in Italy. With a robust experience in seismic design of reinforced concrete and steel structures, he is now becoming familiar with the UK building practices and design, becoming a valuable member of the design team.

Michele Soci Structural & Architectural designer 

Michele has joined mdaStructures in February 2018 as Assistant Designer. Michele has graduated and he is a fully qualified Architect in Italy since 2011, Michele he has gained more than seven years experience in architectural and structural design in Italy in the design and renovation of historic buildings. Michele is now assisting our team in the production of structural drawings and design, whilst familiarizing with local building practices. 

Rexsan Aloysious Junior Structural Engineer 

Rexsan has joined mdaStructures in September 2017 as Junior Structural Engineer. Rex has graduated as Civil Engineer at the Univeristy of Coventry in 2016 and now working toward his Master in Civil Engineering at the University College of London. Following 12 months internship and summer placement at Atkins, Rex has joined mdaStructures where he is gaining experience in the structural design of small and medium residential projects, and assisting our team in the production of structural drawings and design, whilst familiarizing with local building practices.
